Max Sheintoch

Max Sheintoch, MA, LPC

I am a licensed professional counselor with 8 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in working with clients who suffer from anxiety disorders and OCD. Other interests include helping clients with trauma, depression, substance abuse, and difficulties regulating their emotions. In terms of my style, I consider myself warm and empathetic. I try to make therapy a comfortable place where clients can joke and talk freely about whatever is bothering them. I consider myself to be present focused and action oriented. I aim to push clients out of their comfort zones, through the use of mindfulness and behavioral experiments. Finally, I hope to be collaborative in helping you accomplish the goals that are most important to you.

Clients can expect to feel heard and validated during sessions. They can also expect to gain further insight into their different struggles and be better aware of their emotions in the present moment. I aim to help clients learn new coping skills to implement in their lives. This includes being better able to manage anxiety, engage in more positive self-talk, and successfully resolve conflict with others. http://www.maxsheintochtherapy.com/
